High Spirited
High Spirited is the first piece in this kowaii-inspired, in-progress series. This set of paintings was born out of the misery and dark humor brought on by the pandemic, laced with the need to remain hopeful and brave in the midst of chaos.
Weather the Storm
Zephyr
Zephyr, Squall, Tempest, and Fervor are the first four pieces in this series. They represent the storm of emotions one can be experiencing and, despite the chaos within, maintaining a serene demeanor. This type of masking is something we all do for various reasons, perhaps even more so over the past year than any other time in our lives. The hope with this series is to connect to viewers and appeal to their subjective experiences with this phenomenon and let them know they aren't the only ones who experiences this dissonance. Hopefully the peace we paint on the outside can eventually be internalized when we all realize we aren't alone.

Pomegranate Muse creates out of her home studio in the Heritage District of Gilbert, AZ. She is a self-taught artist and has been a passionate, eclectic creator from the time she was old enough to pick up a crayon. She works primarily in watercolor and ink, but also takes on the occasional mural project. Much of her subject matter is draw
Pomegranate Muse creates out of her home studio in the Heritage District of Gilbert, AZ. She is a self-taught artist and has been a passionate, eclectic creator from the time she was old enough to pick up a crayon. She works primarily in watercolor and ink, but also takes on the occasional mural project. Much of her subject matter is drawn from the sciences, dreams, and her distinctive interpretations of experiences brought to life through the strokes of a paintbrush. As a neurodivergent artist, she is able to deliver a polymathic, sui genesis perspective that would otherwise be imperceptible to neurotypical viewers.
